Our commitment

Glasgow Solar City is committed to making this website accessible to all visitors, including people with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.

Measures taken

• Keyboard navigation: Every page is fully navigable with a keyboard alone. A “Skip to main content” link is available on every page.
• Colour contrast: Text and interactive elements meet a minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 against their backgrounds.
• Focus states: All interactive elements have visible focus indicators.
• Touch targets: Interactive elements are at least 24px in the smallest dimension.
• Reduced motion: Animations and transitions are disabled when the “prefers-reduced-motion” setting is active.
• Semantic HTML: Pages use appropriate heading levels, landmarks, and ARIA attributes.
• Form labels: Every form field has a visible, associated label.
• No overlay: We do not use any accessibility overlay widget.

Known limitations

Some third-party content (such as embedded maps or chat widgets added in future) may not fully meet WCAG 2.2 AA. We review third-party components before adding them and work with providers to improve accessibility.
